Tech, Privacy and the 'Under 30' Crowd
Ever wonder how people who grew up with computers and the World Wide Web think about privacy, dossiers, and civic engagement? Next week you can hear in person from researchers studying that question. On Sept 17th, the Berkman Center for Internet & Society, the UW Center for Information & Society and others are co-hosting a talk at Seattle's EMP on youth and technology. The free, public event will feature authors John Palfrey and Urs Gassers talking about their research and new book, Born Digital: Understanding the First Generation of Digital Natives. Perhaps I'll see some of you there!
